Britney Spears\u2019<\/strong> ex-husband, Kevin Federline<\/strong>, is reflecting on fatherhood in his new memoir.<\/p>\n On August 6, the 47-year-old dancer \u2014 who was married to the \u201cToxic\u201d singer, 43, from 2004 to 2007 \u2014 announced he is releasing You Thought You Knew<\/em>, in which he recounts raising his children, which includes Sean<\/strong>, 19, and Jayden<\/strong>, 18, who he shares with the \u201cToxic\u201d singer.<\/p>\n \u201cThis book is extremely intimate and transparent,\u201d Federline shared of the book, set to be released on Oct. 21, in a statement per Rolling Stone<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak, and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced nonstop emotional turbulence.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf you\u2019ve ever had questions,\u201d he continued, \u201cyou\u2019ll find answers here.\u201d<\/p>\n Spears \u2014 who was under a conservatorship from 2008 to 2021 \u2014 lost custody of her sons in 2007 during a tumultuous time in her life.<\/p>\n It seems the Princess of Pop has since reconnected with Jayden:<\/a> In December 2024, she shared a video with him on Instagram<\/a> that she captioned, \u201cBest Christmas of my life !!! I haven\u2019t seen my boys in 2 years !!! Tears of joy and literally in shock everyday koo koo crazy so in love and blessed !!! I\u2019m speechless thank you Jesus !!!\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Spears showed off Jayden playing piano in a video posted to Instagram<\/a>, and she also shared a mirror selfie<\/a> with him in June on the social media platform.<\/p>\n Federline has since moved on following his split from Spears and in 2013, he remarried former volleyball player Victoria Prince<\/strong>. The couple share two daughters, and the family resides in Hawaii, as Prince is a volleyball coach at the University of Hawaii.<\/p>\n Spears seems to be in writing mode, too.
