WCR Center Board President Jayme Rhoads emphasized the center\u2019s commitment to accessibility and community engagement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the WCR Center for the Arts, we believe in the power of the arts to bring people together and inspire our community,\u201d Rhoads said. \u201cThis season, we are proud to present a diverse lineup of performances, events, and programs\u2014some of which are free and open to the public\u2014because we believe that access to the arts should be a right, not a privilege.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The season begins with a free community kick-off event on Friday, September 12 at 7 p.m., featuring music, dancing, and announcements to welcome guests back to the venue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Among the featured performances this season:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Richard Kogan: Schumann \u2013 Music, Mood Swings &amp; Madness<\/strong> \u2013 Sunday, September 21, 2025, 3 p.m. A concert-lecture exploring the life and music of composer Robert Schumann through the lens of creativity and mental health, led by renowned pianist and psychiatrist Dr. Richard Kogan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spyros Koliavasilis: A Musical Tour of Ancient and Modern Greece<\/strong> \u2013 Saturday, November 1, 2025, 8 p.m. Multi-instrumentalist Spyros Koliavasilis will showcase the musical heritage of Greece, from traditional to modern sounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Guitar-a-Rama<\/strong> \u2013 Thursday, November 20, 2025. A guitar-focused event led by Dave Kline, featuring a workshop and concert with international acts, including Busker Incognito and Travellin\u2019 Brothers from Spain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boscov\u2019s Berks Jazz Fest<\/strong> \u2013 March 19\u201329, 2026.
