Dean Cain<\/strong> is switching up his path in law enforcement.<\/p>\n On Wednesday, August 6, the former Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman<\/em> actor appeared on Fox News<\/a> and spoke to Jesse Waters<\/strong> about joining U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement as an official ICE agent, following a recruitment video he posted on X<\/a> for the organization one day prior.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is all your fault, by the way,\u201d Cain, 59, jokingly told the news anchor, 47. \u201cI\u2019m actually a sworn deputy sheriff and a reserve police officer. I wasn\u2019t part of ICE, but once I put that out there, and you put a little blurb on your show, it went crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo now I\u2019ve spoken with some of the officials over at ICE, and I will be sworn in as an ICE agent ASAP,\u201d Cain revealed.<\/p>\n Watters asked whether the former Ripley\u2019s Believe It or Not!<\/em> host would be \u201chopping out of ICE vans and apprehending guys,\u201d to which he responded, \u201cI will do whatever director [Todd] Lyons wants me to do.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the kind of thing where people have to step up. I\u2019m stepping up,\u201d Cain remarked. \u201cHopefully, a whole bunch of other former officers and former ICE agents will step up and will meet those recruitment goals immediately and will help protect this country.\u201d<\/p>\n Cain also shared that he became a police officer when \u201cdefund the police\u201d was happening.<\/p>\n \u201cThis country was built on patriots stepping up, whether it was popular or not, and doing the right thing,\u201d he continued. \u201cI truly believe this is the right thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Cain told Watters he was fulfilling the promise President Donald Trump<\/strong> made to the American people.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have a broken immigration system. Congress needs to fix it, but in the interim, President Trump ran on this,\u201d he stated. \u201cHe is delivering on this. This is what people voted for.
