In Ed Sheeran\u2019s new music video for A Little More<\/em>, the English singer attracts a creepy stalker\u2014played by none other than actor Rupert Grint. It\u2019s a sequel of sorts, given the Harry Potter<\/em> star also starred in Sheeran\u2019s 2011 music video for Lego House<\/em><\/a>. \u201cFor a long time, I wanted to make another music video with Rupert, but I was waiting for the right time and concept,\u201d Sheeran tells Vogue<\/em>. \u201cI thought how funny it\u2019d be to have him in this video, surrounded by all different versions of me\u2014in character\u2014and to see his head spinning.\u201d<\/p>\n

Such is the plot of the new video: Grint plays a recovering Sheeran stalker, who is haunted by images of the star wherever he goes. The singer pops up in his twisted mind as a security guard, dog walker, even as a bride-to-be. \u201cI wanted the video to be pure chaos, and humorous\u2014a bit like the Lego House<\/em> video, but we brought in the chaos from the get-go,\u201d says Sheeran.<\/p>\n

The concept demanded a lot of costumes, of course\u2014in fact, over 250 different outfit changes are featured in the video. The pieces were all sustainably sourced from secondhand shops or resale platforms like eBay. \u201cI didn\u2019t want to be wasteful, especially as there were so many looks to get through,\u201d says Sheeran of the wardrobe approach. \u201cThere are so many interesting clothes already out there, so it made sense to source them in this way.\u201d<\/p>\n
