Is Sarah Ferguson<\/strong><\/a> sending a subtle message with her recent look?<\/p>\n The 65-year-old Duchess of York stepped out in London for an event with the Amazon Influencer Program on Wednesday, August 6, to sign copies of her 2021 romance novel, Her Heart for a Compass<\/em>. She paired a stylish look with navy blue shoes adorned with a rather telling message.<\/p>\n \u201cNever complain, never explain,\u201d an embroidered message on the loafers read. The saying is notably a royal family motto.<\/p>\n \u201cHer Heart for a Compass<\/em> was always meant to be a bridge between hearts, stories, and generations,\u201d Ferguson captioned an Instagram post<\/a> following the event. \u201cBeing able to sign copies and speak with these incredible creators brought me right back to why I wrote it in the first place. Thank you @amazoninfluencerprogram for the opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n The poignant message on Ferguson\u2019s shoes comes as the Daily Mail<\/em> continues to publish excerpts from Andrew Lownie<\/strong>\u2019s upcoming book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York<\/em>, which is set to be released next week. They have declined to comment on the book.)<\/p>\n One excerpt shared by the Daily Mail<\/em> claimed that Ferguson\u2019s ex-husband, Prince Andrew<\/strong>, slept with \u201cmore than a dozen women\u201d<\/a> before the former couple celebrated their first anniversary in 1987.<\/p>\n Ferguson and Andrew, now 65, got married in July 1986. They were together for a decade before getting divorced in May 1996. (The exes are parents to daughters Princess Beatrice<\/strong>, 36, and Princess Eugenie<\/strong>, 35.)<\/p>\n The book alleged that there was one year during their marriage where Andrew only spent 42 days at home.<\/p>\n \u201cSarah discovered Andrew wasn\u2019t coming home on some of his leave. He was going elsewhere \u2014 and this just drove her crazy,\u201d Andrew\u2019s former driver alleged in Lownie\u2019s book. \u201cShe didn\u2019t like the fact she was a shore widow, and to discover she was shore-widowed intentionally really hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n The excerpt claimed that there were several ups and downs in Ferguson\u2019s relationship<\/a> with Andrew.<\/p>\n
