Details on David Fincher’s Netflix sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood have been kept under wraps, with Brad Pitt set to reprise his main character role as the zen stuntman Cliff Booth. Variety reported<\/a> that actors\u00a0Elizabeth Debicki and Scott Caan will star alongside Pitt in the movie, as their character details are still unclear. When it comes to who from the original cast will appear in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel, Timothy Olyphant<\/a> accidentally spilled the beans on\u00a0Conan O\u2019Brien Needs A Friend podcast, according to The AV Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n While speaking with O’Brien on his podcast, the topic of the movie naturally came up, with O’Brien having had no idea the sequel was officially greenlit. Olyphant casually said, “Yep” before looking off to the side at co-host and producer Matt Gourley and mouthing, “I’m in it.”<\/p>\n In any normal podcast scenario, Olyphant revealing his return to the Fincher Netflix sequel would have gone unnoticed if it weren’t for the fact that the podcast was being filmed. Once realizing that he was on camera, Olyphant asked if they were recording with co-host Sona Movsesian, warning him by saying, “That camera just caught whatever you did.”<\/p>\n They asked if Olyphant wanted the grand reveal edited out of the segment, to which he sheepishly replied, “I don\u2019t know\u2026 let\u2019s see.” But the actor tried to backtrack the blunder by admitting he’s not 100% certain he’s in the sequel, but to his understanding, he is.<\/p>\n “I\u2019m hoping I\u2019m in it. That\u2019d be good. You never know, it only is what it is. But my understanding is I\u2019m in it,” he mouthed. Despite the juicy spoiler, Conan was more concerned with Olyphant not having been told sooner, seeing as they are good friends and a big fan of the 2019 movie. The actor explained he only found out a few weeks ago and still isn’t sure.<\/p>\n “[They\u2019ll] find out about this and say, \u2018What\u2019s he doing talking about it?! He\u2019s out!\u2019 It\u2019s all good. We\u2019ve got a lot of things going on.”<\/p>\n Olyphant starred in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood as James Stacy, an actor starring in the fictional Western TV show Lancer alongside Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio’s character).
