Kim Taylor-Coleman<\/strong>, a veteran casting director, has been elected president of the board of the Academy Foundation.<\/p>\n The Academy Foundation oversees all educational, preservation, and cultural activities of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, including the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the Academy\u2019s Margaret Herrick Library, the Academy Film Archive, the Academy Collection and the Academy\u2019s talent development programs.<\/p>\n More from The Hollywood Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n Its board is composed of 12 trustees who are all also members of the Academy\u2019s board of governors.<\/p>\n Also elected to officer positions on the Academy Foundation Board were Brooke Breton<\/strong> of the visual effects branch, as a vice president; Simon Kilmurry<\/strong> of the documentary branch, as treasurer; Isis Mussenden<\/strong> of the costume designers branch, as a vice president; and Marlon West<\/strong> of the animation branch, as secretary.<\/p>\n The other members of the board are Paul Cameron<\/strong>\u00a0of the cinematographers branch; Patricia Cardoso<\/strong> of the directors branch; Peter Devlin\u00a0<\/strong>of the sound branch; Lynette Howell Taylor<\/strong>\u00a0of the producers branch (who was elected president of the Academy\u2019s board of governors on July 31<\/a>); Larry Karaszewski<\/strong> of the writers branch; Stephen Rivkin<\/strong>\u00a0of the film editors branch; and Dana Stevens<\/strong>\u00a0of the writers branch.<\/p>\n Bill Kramer<\/strong>, the Academy\u2019s CEO, said in a statement: \u201cThrough the work of the Academy\u2019s museum, collection, and educational programs, the Academy Foundation furthers our mission to celebrate artistry and innovation in filmmaking, inspire new generations of filmmakers, and preserve our global film history.
