Artists who participated in TikTok\u2019s Tomorrowland livestream gained a combined<b> 3 million <\/b>followers and generated<b> 580 million <\/b>video views, TikTok said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The surge comes as electronic music is among the most popular genres on TikTok. Content tagged with #electronicmusic has now reached<b> 36 billion<\/b> views on the platform. We look forward to creating many more incredible experiences with Tomorrowland as their official content partner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The most-viewed artists during the livestreams included <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link-external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@charlottedewittemusic?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Charlotte de Witte<\/b><\/a>, who performed twice on the MainStage in a single day, and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link-external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@martingarrix?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Martin<\/b> <b>Garrix<\/b><\/a>, who headlined both weekends\u2019 closing sets. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link-external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@alanwalkermusic?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Alan<\/b> <b>Walker<\/b><\/a> \u2014 who created his track, <i>Heartbreak Melody, <\/i>during a songwriting camp hosted by Tomorrowland and TikTok\u2019s distribution and promotion service <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link-internal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/tiktok-just-launched-its-own-music-distribution-platform-soundon12\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>SoundOn<\/b><\/a> \u2014 was also among the most-watched artists on TikTok livestreams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As MBW <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link-internal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/tiktoks-soundon-powers-global-release-of-alan-walkers-new-album-with-exclusive-in-app-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> in January, Walker tapped TikTok-owned SoundOn to release his highly fifth studio album <i>Walkerworld 2.0<\/i>, and partnered with TikTok for an exclusive in-app experience and a livestream performance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Meanwhile, Walker\u2019s <i>Heartbreak Melody <\/i>accumulated <b>4 million<\/b> streams within two weeks of release and became the most-saved track through TikTok\u2019s \u2018Add to Music App\u2019 feature among festival performers at Tomorrowland. The\u00a0<b><i>Next up: Live Music\u00a0<\/i><\/b>competition promises to give unsigned artists a platform to reach more audiences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Over a month ago, TikTok <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link-internal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/tiktok-launches-live-fan-club-feature-as-platform-hits-130m-daily-livestreamers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rolled out<\/a> a new feature called <b>LIVE Fan Club<\/b> as the platform <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link-external\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.tiktok.com\/en-us\/community-fest-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">disclosed<\/a> that <b>130 million<\/b> creators worldwide now broadcast LIVE content daily on the platform.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">These services come amid the booming creator economy. The global live streaming market reached\u00a0<b>$38.87 billion<\/b>\u00a0in 2022 and is expected to hit around\u00a0<b>$256.56 billion\u00a0<\/b>by 2032, according to\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link-external\" href=\"https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/marketplace\/pp\/prodview-rozuiqoxzwbgc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">data<\/a>\u00a0from Custom Market Insights.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Beyond regular creators, TikTok has also hosted livestream events for artists.
