Offset has set the record straight, letting fans know there\u2019s no more beef between him and Quavo, especially in the wake of losing their beloved Migos groupmate, Takeoff.<\/p>\n
Set recently pulled up to the 7PM in Brooklyn With Carmelo Anthony<\/em> podcast, where he opened up about grieving, family dynamics, and what\u2019s next as he gears up for the release of his third solo album<\/a>, Kiari<\/em>. During the heartfelt conversation, Offset made it clear that whatever tension once existed between him and Quavo is now behind them.<\/p>\n \u201cWe holla at each other every other week,\u201d he said, brushing off the internet drama. \u201cThat\u2019s family at the end of the day. You\u2019re gonna bump heads with your family sometimes, but ain\u2019t nobody playing with me, ain\u2019t nobody playing with him \u2026 nobody.\u201d<\/p>\n Watch below at the 31:10 mark.<\/p>\n The two Atlanta rap stars went their separate ways shortly before Takeoff was tragically shot and killed in Houston in 2022. At that time, Quavo and Takeoff had formed the duo Unc & Phew and released their album Only Built For Inflinity Links<\/em>. Offset had dropped his solo LP, Set it Off <\/em>in the following year, which marked the same year that the group officially disbanded.<\/a><\/p>\n Offset shared that the most recent reconnection with Quavo took place on June 18, which would have been Takeoff\u2019s 31st birthday<\/a>. He stressed that Take was the glue who held them all together as he always brought \u201cpeace\u201d and was trying to mediate when their egos would clash.<\/p>\n \u201cBuddy ain\u2019t trying to argue. He don\u2019t want you to do nothing. He\u2019s just peaceful, bruh,\u201d Offset reflected on Takeoff\u2019s energy and presence. \u201cHe still be around though. You feel him.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans once speculated beef between Quavo and Offset, especially after reports surfaced of a backstage fight <\/a>at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
