Prince Harry\u2019s attempts to mend ties with his royal family members continue.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex has reportedly recently agreed to share his and wife Duchess Meghan<\/a>\u2019s official travel and work schedule with King Charles III and brother Prince William as a kind of olive branch. This is to ensure that the Sussexes\u2019s events don\u2019t clash with the royal family\u2019s and stir up claims that the couple is trying to steal the spotlight, the Daily Mail reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A source told the outlet that the Sussex household has offered to \u201cdraw up a grid\u201d of their activities and share them with Buckingham Palace.<\/p>\n

Harry\u2019s new peace offering comes weeks after he and his father took a major step<\/a> in repairing their relationship. According to reports, top aides for each of the respective royals met on July 9 in London, where there was discussion about Harry and Charles\u2019s work, as well as how they might be able to reunite moving forward. \u201cIt was a good first step,\u201d an insider told People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cIt is always better to be talking. There\u2019s optimism that it can be taken forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em> has previously reported, Harry has been mostly estranged from dad Charles and brother William<\/a> since he and Meghan stepped away<\/a> from their roles as senior members of the royal family in 2020 and moved to California.<\/p>\n

In the years since, Harry has only crossed paths with the senior royals on special occasions, including Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s funeral in 2022<\/a> and King Charles\u2019s coronation in 2023<\/a>. But the rift only grew when Harry published his tell-all memoir, Spare<\/a><\/em>, in 2023, which exposed some shocking royal family secrets. <\/p>\n

Then, in February of last year, when the king was diagnosed with cancer<\/a>, Harry flew to London to see him. The prince made other trips to the United Kingdom in the following months, but he missed his father each time. In May, Charles was reportedly too busy<\/a> to see him, and then when Harry returned to London in September<\/a>, Charles and Queen Camilla were on a short trip to Scotland.<\/p>\n

This May, Harry told the BBC<\/a> that the king \u201cwon\u2019t speak to me because of this security stuff\u201d\u2014referring to his legal battle about getting a security detail when in the U.K.\u2014and added that he does \u201cnot know how much longer my father has.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry added that he \u201cwould love a reconciliation\u201d with his royal family members and has \u201cforgiven\u201d them. \u201cThere have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s no point continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
