Don\u2019t count on a Ye-produced Pusha T<\/a> track anytime soon.<\/p>\n The Clipse<\/a> sat down with The Guardian<\/a><\/em> recently as the hip-hop duo continues to promote their new Let God Sort Em Out<\/a><\/em> album, and Push was asked directly if he would ever consider working with Ye (formerly Kanye West<\/a>) again.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cYeah, that\u2019s in the past,\u201d he answered bluntly. \u201cThat\u2019s definitely in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n Before he was asked that particular question, though, he was asked if he could mention some of the good times they had as members of G.O.O.D. Music.<\/p>\n \u201cJust as a rap aficionado, well, being there was special,\u201d he replied. \u201cCreating \u2018So Appalled\u2019 and \u2018New God Flow\u2019 were some of my favorite memories. The G.O.O.D. Friday series, that was crazy, too. The albums I dropped during that time, like Daytona<\/em> and It\u2019s Almost Dry<\/em>, they are very, very strong offerings. It goes without saying that me and Ye made great things together.\u201d<\/p>\n Push has distanced himself from Ye in recent years and told GQ<\/em><\/a> that he doesn\u2019t think his former collaborator is a man after Ye took to social media and admitted that he missed being friends with him.<\/p>\n Later in the interview, the brothers from Virginia were asked about their favorite albums of all time, and the answers Malice gave may surprise some \u2014 especially about the music he listens to while working out \u2014 while Push took a more rap-centric approach.<\/p>\n \u201cListen, I love The Killers<\/a>, I love Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/a>, even Billy Joel<\/a>,\u201d Malice said. \u201cWhen I work out in the gym, I have Coldplay<\/a> playing, or U2<\/a>\u2019s The Joshua Tree<\/a><\/em>. It\u2019s funny, because when I watched MTV back in the 1980s, David Bowie<\/a> was always on there. All these years later and Bowie is still at the forefront today. I think that says something about true talent and how it can carry on through the ages. It even outlasts your death.\u201d<\/p>\n Pusha added, \u201cI\u2019m always torn between Mobb Deep<\/a>\u2019s The Infamous<\/a><\/em>, Raekwon<\/a>\u2019s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx<\/a><\/em>, Jay-Z<\/a>\u2019s Reasonable Doub<\/em>t<\/a>, and Biggie<\/a>\u2019s Life After Death<\/a><\/em>.
