Universal Studios Hollywood is adding more frights to its 2025 Halloween Horror Nights lineup with the debut of a haunted house based on the classic horror film Poltergeist, the return of Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse, and the Purge: Dangerous Waters stunt show, alongside four new scare zones.<\/p>\n
The event begins Sept. 4 and runs select nights through Nov. 2.<\/p>\n
The Poltergeist haunted house, based on the 1982 supernatural horror film from Amazon MGM Studios, will immerse guests in scenes from the Freeling family\u2019s haunted home.<\/p>\n
Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse, located on the park\u2019s backlot, will feature villains from Blumhouse films, including \u201cThe Black Phone,\u201d \u201cThe Exorcist: Believer,\u201d \u201cM3GAN,\u201d \u201cThe Purge,\u201d \u201cFreaky,\u201d and \u201cHappy Death Day.\u201d<\/p>\n
R.I.P. Tour guests will have an opportunity to meet with select characters featured on Terror Tram. General Admission guests will encounter a special photo op upon disembarking the tram.<\/p>\n
The Purge: Dangerous Waters stunt show will also return to the WaterWorld venue.<\/p>\n
Four new scare zones will also be spread throughout the park:<\/p>\n
Chainsaw Clownz<\/strong> \u2013 roaming killers with chainsaws<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Carnival of Carnage<\/strong> \u2013 a twisted funhouse<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Noche de Brujas<\/strong> \u2013 Latin American witch legends<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Murder of Crowz<\/strong> \u2013 returning avian predators defending their territory<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n These additions join previously announced haunted houses inspired by Fallout, Five Nights at Freddy\u2019s, Terrifier, WWE\u2019s The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks, Jason Universe, Scarecrow: Music by Slash and Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America.<\/p>\n Tickets to the Halloween event can be available here.<\/a><\/p>\n Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
