Deftones<\/a> have shared a new song, \u201cMilk of the Madonna.\u201d Listen to it below.<\/p>\n The eruptive track seethes with a wall of down-tuned riff energy and Chino Moreno\u2019s signature emotive wails that take on a religious fervor in the chorus: \u201cHoly ghost\/ I\u2019m on fire\/ Holy spirit\/ I\u2019m on fire.\u201d The track roars by with only a brief reflective pause in the middle to showcase quietly strummed guitars before exploding back into waves of crushing power chords.<\/p>\n Get Deftones Tickets Here<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cMilk of the Madonna\u201d is the second advance track from Deftones\u2019 highly anticipated 10th studio album, Private Music<\/em><\/a>, set for release on August 22nd. It follows \u201cMy Mind is a Mountain<\/a>,\u201d which the band dropped last month. It was impactful enough to be deemed our Song of the Week<\/a> when it arrived.<\/p>\n Moreno and company are set to launch a new 14-date tour<\/a> on the day Private Music<\/em> is released, hitting Vancouver, British Columbia, on August 22nd, with shows scheduled through September 17th, when they wrap things up in Kansas City, Missouri. The band will follow the tour with a handful of festival appearances, including Shaky Knees in Atlanta, Louisville\u2019s Louder Than Life, and Aftershock in Sacramento.
