Sharon Osbourne<\/strong><\/a> revealed that her late husband Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong><\/a> shared touching comments about his fans prior to his death.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Pollstar<\/em> <\/a>that was published on Tuesday, August 5, but took place on July 17, Sharon shared Ozzy\u2019s remarks about his fans following Black Sabbath\u2019s \u201cBack to the Beginning\u201d farewell concert. The gig, which took place in Birmingham, England, on July 5, marked Ozzy\u2019s final performance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe turned around and he said to me that night, he said, \u2018I had no idea that so many people liked me,\u2019\u201d Sharon, 72, reflected during the interview. \u201cOzzy\u2019s always been in his own bubble.\u201d<\/p>\n

For her part, Sharon admitted she wasn\u2019t surprised in the least that there was so much love and admiration for Ozzy from his fans.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOzzy Osbourne\u2019s friends and family gathered in Birmingham, England on Wednesday, July 30, to celebrate the late music legend. The Osbourne family confirmed on July 22 that the Black Sabbath frontman died at age 76 following a battle with Parkinson\u2019s disease. His death came two weeks after his final concert on July 5. \u201cIt is [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOh my God, the metal fans are the most loyal fans in the world! When they\u2019re a fan, you\u2019ve got them for life. They don\u2019t go anywhere,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s daughter, Kelly, 40, shared how special<\/a> the final performance was to her dad, detailing her gratitude via an Instagram Story posted on July 5.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who came to the show last night, [and] thank you to everybody who was involved in the show last night,\u201d she wrote. \u201cYou have no idea what it did for my dad. It was one of the most magical experiences of my entire life, and if I keep talking, I\u2019m probably going to end up crying again. So, that\u2019s all I\u2019ll say for now. Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ozzy died on July 22<\/a> from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson\u2019s disease, according to a death certificate obtained by The U.K.\u2019s The Sun<\/em>. He was 76.<\/p>\n
