The stars of John Hughes’ iconic film Weird Science are celebrating the film’s 40-year-anniversary.<\/p>\n

Judie Aronson<\/a><\/strong> shared a joint Instagram reel with her costar Anthony Michael Hall<\/a><\/strong> on August 3 to commemorate the major anniversary and reflect on her time working on the film together.<\/p>\n

“I can\u2019t believe it\u2019s been 40 years since I was part of this iconic film,” Aronson wrote in her caption. “Watching Weird Science continue to inspire, entertain, and bring laughs across generations has been a blast!”<\/p>\n

Aronson added that she still loves her “Weird Science family beyond words” and revealed that they still stay in touch and even “exchanged anniversary wishes in our group text today.”<\/p>\n

“It was such a special time in the ’80s\u2014full of shenanigans, unforgettable moments, and tons of laughs,” she continued. “And 40 years later, I\u2019m beyond proud of my amazing co-stars. Who knew a little \u201cscience\u201d could create such a lasting legacy?!”<\/p>\n

Weird Science came out back in 1985 and follows two unpopular teenage boys who to create their ultimate dream girl thanks to the power of computer science. The film also starred Kelly LeBrock, Suzanne Snyder and Robert Downey Jr. <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hall and Aronson recently attended a signing back in June alongside their costar Ilan Mitchell-Smith<\/strong> and fans commented on how Aronson, now 61, “has aged incredibly\u201d since she played Hilly in the film.<\/p>\n

“Hilly was my favorite, and she is still beautiful,\u201d one fan commented while another added that they “Loved some Hilly back in the day.\u201d<\/p>\n
