Jeremy Clarkson<\/a> has admitted that funds amassed from his hit TV show Clarkson\u2019s Farm are keeping his Diddly Squat farm alive, after a \u201cdisastrous\u201d harvest.<\/p>\n The 1,000-acre holding in Oxfordshire is at the heart of his hugely popular Prime Video<\/a> series, which follows the presenter\u2019s journey as a new farmer<\/a> and the challenges he faces along the way.<\/p>\n But, in an ironic twist, without the show\u2019s ratings success, there would be nothing to run, with Clarkson stating: \u201cMost farms don\u2019t have TV shows to keep them going.\u201d<\/p>\n The TV star addressed the show\u2019s success while lamenting this year\u2019s terrible harvest.<\/p>\n He wrote on X\/Twitter on Friday (8 August): \u201cIt looks like this year\u2019s harvest will be catastrophic. That should be a worry for anyone who eats food.<\/p>\n \u201cIf a disaster on this scale had befallen any other industry, there would be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth.\u201d<\/p>\n When one fan told him that this particular \u201cdrama\u201d will make \u201cgood TV\u201d in a future episode of Clarkson\u2019s Farm, the former Top Gear star replied: \u201cYes.
