The second round of voting to determine\u00a0Elvis Presle<\/a>y’s best song has come to a close, and the field of 16 has been cut to eight elite tunes.<\/p>\n With the annual\u00a0Elvis Week<\/a>\u00a0festivities underway, The Commercial Appeal decided to turn to you, our readers\/Elvis fans, to determine the top track by the\u00a0King of Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll<\/a>.<\/p>\n Adopting a March Madness-style competition to determine Elvis’ best track, we started with 32 songs facing off in randomly generated matchups. Round 1 saw some close battles and impassioned voting as fans lobbied for their favorite cuts by the King.
