Former Glee <\/i>star Kevin McHale<\/strong><\/a> called out Dean Cain<\/strong><\/a> for voicing his intentions to join the United States\u2019 Immigration and Customs Enforcement department.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, I know the entertainment business is in shambles, but imagine being so out of work and desperate for attention (I would know) that you join ICE?\u201d McHale, 37, wrote via X<\/a> on Thursday, August 7. \u201cF***ing pathetic loser.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cain, 59, announced his plans earlier this week to seek employment in the ICE department. (Cain is best known for his roles<\/a> in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman<\/i>, Supergirl <\/i>and a slate of Hallmark movies.)<\/p>\n

\u201cFor those who don\u2019t know, I am a sworn law enforcement officer, as well as being a filmmaker. I felt it was important to join with our first responders to help secure the safety of all Americans,\u201d Cain said in a Tuesday, August 5, Instagram<\/a> video. \u201cNot just talk about it \u2014 so I joined up. Here\u2019s your opportunity to join ICE.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGlee introduced the world to quite a talented group of actors when musical comedy-drama debuted on Fox in 2009. It was Ryan Murphy\u2018s third series, following teen drama Popular and dark medical drama Nip\/Tuck. The series focused on the William McKinley High School glee club, the New Directions, as they tried to balance choir competition [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He added, \u201cIf you want to help save America, ICE is arresting the worst of the worst and removing them from America\u2019s streets. I like that, I voted for that. They need your help to protect our homeland and our families.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cain further encouraged his social media followers to \u201ccheck into\u201d the organization and join \u201cif it\u2019s something that tickles your fancy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cain\u2019s video quickly drew backlash from many social media users, including fellow actors.<\/p>\n

\u201cShame on you,\u201d Dynasty <\/i>alum Ana Brenda Contreras<\/strong> replied in the comments section.<\/p>\n

Hugo Catal\u00e1n<\/strong>, for his part, succinctly added, \u201cWhen your acting career crumbles\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
