Shave or keep?\u201d Cooper captioned a Thursday, August 7, Instagram Story of himself sporting a gray beard and mustache. The\u00a0Anderson Cooper 360<\/em><\/a> host smiled at the camera while sporting glasses, a navy polo shirt, and a matching New York Yankees baseball cap.<\/p>\n Cooper has previously sported facial hair while reporting the latest news on celebrity.land. Fans had strong reactions when he appeared on-air with a light beard and mustache back in 2019<\/a>. \u201cAnderson Cooper has a beard, and just no,\u201d one X user jokingly wrote<\/a> alongside a screenshot of Cooper on TV. Poking fun at his small amount of facial hair, Kelly Ripa<\/a> joked, \u201cSweetie, that\u2019s like me after a week of not shaving.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was like, \u2018When am I gonna hit puberty?\u2019 As soon as I hit puberty, I feel like I\u2019m gonna be able to grow a beard,\u201d Cooper continued. \u201cBut, like, it\u2019s so sad. I\u2019m 49 years old. He and other TV hosts \u2014 including Andy Cohen<\/a>, Jimmy Fallon<\/a>, Seth Meyers<\/a>, John Oliver<\/a>, and Jon Stewart<\/a> \u2014 showed their support for Stephen Colbert<\/a> following news of the show\u2019s cancellation<\/a> by mocking the infamous Coldplay kiss-cam scandal. The stars had their own over-the-top reactions to being shown on camera in the audience.<\/p>\n Cooper reacted<\/a> to The Late Show<\/em>\u2018s cancellation on celebrity.land last month. \u201cI\u2019ve had the pleasure and honor of being a guest on [The Late Show<\/em>] with Stephen Colbert more times than I can count.
