He reportedly died of melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Savannah shared a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo?fbid=3141662252667019&amp;set=pcb.3141663349333576\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">picture on Facebook <\/a>of her standing next to her dad. Blackstock had one arm around her shoulder, his other hand on his hip, and his leg up on a bench. The duo smiled for the snap.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Savannah Blackstock and her dad Brandon Blackstock. <span class=\"credit\">Savannah Lee<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Blackstock wore a zip-up, sweats, and a matching black hat. Savannah also sported a black sweatshirt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She captioned the July 20 picture, \u201cBack home to the mountains &amp; my daddy.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Blackstock resided in Butte, Montana.<\/p>\n<p>Just a month before Blackstock\u2019s death, Savannah announced that\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/08\/entertainment\/brandon-blackstocks-daughter-announced-her-pregnancy-a-month-before-his-death\/\">she was expecting her second child<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She shared the news on her\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/savannahb_lee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">private Instagram account<\/a>\u00a0on July 5.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Savannah Blackstock shared pictures of her dad to Facebook in June. <span class=\"credit\">Savannah Lee<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><figcaption>Savannah Blackstock poses with her dad Brandon Blackstock. <span class=\"credit\">Savannah Lee\/Facebook<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been keeping a couple sweet surprises,\u201d penned Savannah. \u201cOne little girl will be making her arrival at the beginning of January and another beautiful girl named Julianna who has already been one of the greatest blessings to our family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Along with Savannah, Blackstock is also dad to son Seth, 18, with his ex-wife Melissa Ashworth. The pair were married from 2001 to 2012.<\/p>\n<p>He also shared daughter River, 11, and son Remy, 9, with ex-wife Kelly Clarkson.<\/p>\n<p>Blackstock\u2019s family shared the news of his passing on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years,\u201d they said in a statement obtained by The Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. The custodial parent shall not allow the minor children to be in the presence of any third party who speaks about the other parent in a derogatory manner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cStronger\u201d singer alleged that Blackstock acted\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/12\/10\/kelly-clarkson-alleges-brandon-blackstock-acted-fraudulently-as-her-manager\/\">fraudulently as her manager<\/a>.
