Influencer Emilie Kiser<\/strong><\/a> secured a legal win following the death of her and husband Brady Kiser<\/strong>\u2018s 3-year-old son, Trigg.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly\u00a0<\/em>confirmed on Friday, August 8, that Emilie was successful in redacting two pages of the 55-page police report regarding her son\u2019s drowning, which included \u201cheartwrenching details\u201d of Trigg\u2019s death, per a source. (Emilie initially filed the motion<\/a> to seal the documents late last month.)<\/p>\n

A judge agreed with Emilie\u2019s claim that the details \u201cdid not serve the public interest,\u201d the insider explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re grateful to Judge Whitten for carefully balancing the important interests at stake and allowing a narrow but meaningful redaction to the Chandler police report, removing two pages that detail the graphic final moments of Trigg\u2019s life,\u201d Emilie\u2019s attorney Shannon Clark told Us <\/em>in a statement on Friday. \u201cThese redactions do not alter any material facts of the accident, but they protect the dignity of a little boy whose memory should reflect the love and light he brought to the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement concluded, \u201cFrom the start, this has been about protecting Trigg and the family\u2019s ability to grieve privately. This decision allows them, and the public, to remember him for the beautiful life he lived, not the tragic way it ended.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us <\/em>previously confirmed that the 26-year-old TikTok star\u2019s eldest son, Trigg, died<\/a> on May 18 after being discovered unconscious in the family\u2019s backyard pool on May 12.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing. \u201cThis is still an open investigation,\u201d the Chandler Police Department in Arizona told Us<\/em> in a statement at the time. \u201cOut of respect for the family\u2019s privacy<\/a>, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed.\u201d<\/p>\n

In June, USA Today<\/em> obtained search warrant applications in which Brady, 28, told authorities he was home alone watching Trigg and his and Emilie\u2019s 2-month-old son, Teddy,<\/a> when the tragic incident occurred. Emilie, meanwhile, was out with friends.<\/p>\n

According to Brady, who married Emilie in 2019, Trigg went to the backyard to play after he finished eating. Brady saw Trigg playing near the pool, which was \u201cnot uncommon.\u201d However, the pool usually had a protective cover on it. Brady told authorities that he was \u201csoon distracted\u201d by Teddy and lost sight of Trigg<\/a> for three to five minutes before finding his eldest son floating in the pool. He then jumped in to retrieve Trigg and called 911.<\/p>\n

The search warrant applications were filed in May to obtain video surveillance from two cameras in the backyard to verify Brady\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n
