While much about the upcoming Toy Story 5<\/strong><\/a> remains unknown, an actor recently confirmed that his fan-favorite character from a past entry will be appearing in the new movie.<\/p>\n Speaking during a recent appearance on The Discourse Podcast, Tony Hale \u2014 who played the character Forky in Toy Story 4 \u2014 confirmed that the makeshift toy will be returning again for the fifth movie, which he says is going to be a fun one.<\/p>\n \u201cI recorded it a month ago,\u201d Hale said of his role in the movie. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be really special.\u201d<\/p>\n Forky was originally introduced in Toy Story 4, and is more arts and craft than toy. The character is a handcrafted toy made out of a plastic spork, pipe cleaner, googly eyes, popsticle sticks, and wax. In Toy Story 4, Forky is largely insecure of his existence, and considers himself \u201ctrash,\u201d something he constantly brings up throughout the movie. By the end of the movie, though, Forky becomes more confident, and accepts his status as a toy.<\/p>\n Toy Story 5 will once again star the main cast of the Pixar franchise, including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Ernie Hudson, and more.
