Did fancams of Wednesday Addams set to \u201cBloody Mary\u201d go viral for nothing? Will we ever get to see Mother Monster walk among actual<\/em> monsters and outcasts at Nevermore Academy? Is all hope lost for a possible on-screen dance sequence to \u201cZombieboy\u201d? Where is the pop star and Golden Globe-winning actress?<\/p>\n Thankfully, Gaga\u2019s involvement in Wednesday<\/em> is no marketing stunt by Netflix or an off-screen celebration of \u201cPrank Day.\u201d She is expected to appear in the second half of season 2<\/a>, which will arrive in a matter of weeks. Netflix had even confirmed the news back in May. But for those of us (like me) who\u2019ve been out of the loop, here\u2019s what you need to know.<\/p>\n She\u2019ll play Rosaline Rotwood, \u201ca legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday,\u201d according to Netflix.<\/p>\n Wednesday<\/em>\u2019s official social accounts also teased the role with an eerie post, saying, \u201cCloaked in mystery with a reputation that precedes her. Our paths will surely cross. Welcome to mayhem @LadyGaga.\u201d Not much else is known about Rosaline\u2014she doesn\u2019t appear to be based on an original Addams Family character\u2014so viewers will have to stay tuned for the rest of the season to find out more.<\/p>\n Gaga\u2019s casting was first reported<\/a> in November 2024. In August<\/a> that year, Ortega said during the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice<\/em> press tour that four episodes of Wednesday<\/em> season 2 were already filmed. That might explain why Gaga doesn\u2019t appear in the first half of the season.<\/p>\n Rosaline joins the cast for season 2, part, 2, which premieres on Netflix of Wednesday, September 3. Just a few more weeks of waiting!<\/p>\n Gaga, Netflix, and the Wednesday team have shared details sparingly.
