While Yellowstone<\/a><\/em> might be gone, the Yellowstone<\/em> universe and its creator, Taylor Sheridan<\/a>, are thriving.<\/p>\n Y: Marshals<\/a><\/em>, a CBS series centered on Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes<\/a>), is currently in production with a planned 2025\u201326 midseason premiere. A new Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly<\/a>) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser<\/a>) show (rumored to be titled Dutton Ranch<\/em><\/a>), is also in the works, while 6666<\/em><\/a> was announced as another spinoff. The last update on Sheridan\u2019s Montana-centered drama came in October 2024, when Y: The Last Man<\/a><\/em> alum\u00a0Ben Schnetzer<\/a> was cast as \u201ca rancher,\u201d sparking speculation about whether he might be playing The Madison<\/em>\u2018s very own version of Rip Wheeler.<\/p>\n Prior to that announcement, the high-profile series from Sheridan boasted a big name cast, including star Michelle Pfeiffer<\/a>, Lost<\/em><\/a> alum Matthew Fox<\/a>, Patrick J. Adams<\/a> of Suits<\/em><\/a>, Firefly Lane<\/em><\/a> alum Beau Garrett<\/a>, Amiah Miller<\/a>, and newcomer Elle Chapman<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kurt Russell<\/a> was also been rumored to be attached to the series, though that casting appears to have halted.<\/p>\n So, what has happened to The Madison<\/em>? Adams plays Russell McIntosh, Paige\u2019s husband. Fox will star opposite Pfeiffer as Paul, \u201ca self-reliant bachelor who loves the outdoors,\u201d according to\u00a0Deadline<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Here are the official character descriptions provided by Paramount:<\/p>\n Adams<\/b> will play Russell McIntosh, a young investment banker who has followed the life path set before him from the start.<\/p>\n Chapman<\/b> will play Paige McIntosh, a somewhat self-centered woman who indulges in a luxurious New York lifestyle provided by her parents and investment banker husband.<\/p>\n Garrett<\/b> will play Abigail Reese, a resilient and sardonic New Yorker, who is a recently divorced mother of two.<\/p>\n Miller<\/b> will play Bridgette, Abigail\u2019s eldest daughter.<\/p>\n The<\/i> Madison<\/em> is Chapman\u2019s TV debut. Her film debut was in a scene in A Man Called Otto<\/a><\/em>\u00a0<\/em>opposite Tom Hanks<\/a>. Van is the first character announced for the series who seems to be from Montana and not a transplant like the other main characters. While we wouldn\u2019t describe Cole Hauser\u2019s Rip in\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em> as neighborly, Van\u2019s description most resembles the archetypes viewers already know from the flagship series.<\/p>\n Schnetzer is known for starring in\u00a0Y: The Last Man<\/em> and was recently seen in Netflix\u2019s\u00a03 Body Problem<\/a><\/em>.<\/em><\/p>\n Production on The Madison<\/em> is reportedly began in August 2024 in Montana, NYC, and Texas.
