WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH)\u2013 A new family entertainment center and residential development is planned for the north side of Grand Park, city officials announced Monday.<\/p>\n
GPS.fun, a locally owned company, plans to build a 33,000-square-foot indoor entertainment facility near 191st Street and Horton Road. The center will feature duckpin bowling, laser tag, a full-service bar, a modern arcade and \u201cKrazy Darts,\u201d a laser-projected dart game designed for all skill levels.<\/p>\n
A 40,000-square-foot outdoor area will complement the indoor attractions, offering a ropes course and mini-golf.<\/p>\n
In addition to the entertainment offerings, plans call for up to 104 two-story townhomes to be built on the northern portion of the site.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re excited to welcome GPS.fun to Westfield as another high-quality amenity for our residents and visitors,\u201d Mayor Scott Willis said in a statement. \u201cThis project not only provides much-needed family entertainment for our residents but also supports our vision for the Grand Park area in creating a mix of entertainment and recreation options.\u201d<\/p>\n
The project was introduced at Monday\u2019s City Council meeting and will go before the Advisory Plan Commission for a public hearing on May 5. Final consideration by the City Council is expected July 14.<\/p>\n
If approved, construction could begin later this year, with the entertainment venue projected to open in late 2026.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
