The roles have not been quite as prominent for the 59-year-old lately, but he is back in the headlines this week because he is making a big-time move.<\/p>\n
The former \u201cSuperman\u201d told Fox News\u2019 Jesse Watters that he is joining ICE. <\/b><\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI put out a recruitment video yesterday, I\u2019m actually a sworn deputy sheriff and a reserve police officer,\u201d Cain told Watters. \u201cI wasn\u2019t part of ICE, but once I put that out there and you put a little blurb on your show, it went crazy. So now I\u2019ve spoken with some officials over at ICE, and I will be sworn in as an ICE agent, ASAP.\u201d<\/p>\n Cain told Watters he was motivated to make the move because the country was \u201cbuilt on patriots stepping up, whether it was popular or not,\u201d and that he believes joining ICE is \u201cthe right thing.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe have a broken immigration system,\u201d Cain told Watters. \u201cCongress needs to fix it, but in the interim, President Trump ran on this. He is delivering on this. This is what people voted for. It\u2019s what I voted for, and he\u2019s going to see it through, and I\u2019ll do my part and help make sure it happens.\u201d<\/p>\n Cain followed that up by responding to one person on X on Wednesday night who said he did not join ICE.<\/p>\n The actor reshared the post and wrote, \u201cAnd now I have..\u201d<\/p>\n So, it is possible that he has already joined.<\/p>\n He also shared the video of him making his ICE recruiting pitch to X and that created a bit of a stir among his followers.
