The Summer I Turned Pretty<\/a><\/em> Season 3 is filled with many obvious Easter eggs \u2014 but apparently, fans missed one of them in the form of a cameo from Jenny Han<\/a>.<\/p>\n In an interview with Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, the writer of the beloved book trilogy alerted viewers to her nearly undetectable presence in Season 3, Episode 5 of the Prime Video<\/a> show.<\/p>\n \u201cI do make a cameo in this episode,\u201d Han, an executive producer for the series and director for Episode 5, told the publication. \u201cIt\u2019s just my voice. The reason why I\u2019m even saying it now is because I don\u2019t think anyone\u2019s going to pick up on it, it\u2019s like the tiniest thing, but it made me laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n The episode titled \u201cLast Dance\u201d features many scenes narrated by Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney<\/a>) for the first time. By contrast, Belly Conklin (Lola Tung<\/a>) and sometimes Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno<\/a>) have narrated all the other episodes.<\/p>\n \u201cThis one\u2019s just a tiny little thing,\u201d Han reiterated. \u201cI don\u2019t think anyone\u2019s going to know it\u2019s me. It\u2019s almost impossible, honestly.\u201d<\/p>\n Even with her bringing it to fans\u2019 attention, she doesn\u2019t think viewers will be able to identify the quick cameo.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just my voice,\u201d she told EW. \u201cThe reason why I\u2019m even saying it now is because I don\u2019t think anyone\u2019s going to pick up on it, it\u2019s like the tiniest thing, but it made me laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n For Season 1 of The Summer I Turned Pretty<\/em>, Han appeared at the debutante ball in the finale. And eagle-eyed viewers spotted her exiting a liquor store in Season 2.<\/p>\n Although fans missed Han\u2019s voice in Season 3, they have certainly picked up on countless other Easter eggs in the final installment of the summer love triangle involving two brothers and their childhood family friend \u2014 including a scene in which Belly fills in an answer to Conrad\u2019s crossword puzzle<\/a>.<\/p>\n Han previously warned viewers that the story will have a different ending in the Prime Video show than it does in the books.<\/p>\n
