Additionally, a former top prospect for the Boston Red Sox has joined the Kansas City Royals. Utility man Bobby Dalbec inked a minor league deal in Boston after opting out of one with the Milwaukee Brewers last week.<\/p>\n
Speaking of the Brewers, they have agreed to a minor league deal with right-handed Julian Merryweather. The 33-year-old was a key bullpen piece for the Chicago Cubs in 2023 but has been marred with injuries since his career year.<\/p>\n
