For Regal <\/a>movie theater guests, a new sweet treat is waiting to be sipped, and it is just as delicious as people expect.<\/p>\n Even people who have never cracked open a Harry Potter<\/em> book know Butterbeer. The specialty beverage that Harry, Hermione and Ron sip at the Three Broomsticks while hatching their secretive plans is just as iconic as Coca-Cola. The special, limited time offering will be available from August 20 through September 3. To clarify, the company does not call this drink Butterbeer nor is it associated with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.<\/p>\n Although it is not the official beverage, the sweet butterscotch drink with a frothy cold foam<\/a> does feel like the magical sipper that people might drink in Hogsmeade. It may not come in a frosty mug or bear a wizard\u2019s spell, but it is quite tasty.<\/p>\n Fan reaction was swift. One person said, \u201cWhy couldn\u2019t this be released earlier, I need this NOW.\u201d Another person commented, \u201cPerfect way to chill this late summer!\u201d<\/p>\n While some people were concerned that the beverage is quite sweet, others felt that the indulgence is worth the experience. Popcorn buckets might get all the attention for new movie releases, but classic movies offer a stronger emotional connection. Harry Potter<\/em> fans will want to sip and snack on food and beverages that relate to the movies.<\/p>\n Although this particular offering is not an officially licensed Harry Potter<\/em> beverage, it is not the first time that food brands have been inspired by the beloved Butterbeer flavor. Earlier this year, SmartPop, Goldfish, Hershey’s Kisses<\/a> and many more brands collaborated with Warner Bros for Butterbeer season. Fans of the iconic series cleared the shelves of all the specialty products<\/p>\n Harry Potter<\/em> fans will want to head to their Regal theater later this month to enjoy this specialty Butterscotch ICEE.
