The Jonas Brothers<\/a> are returning to New Jersey \u2014their home state \u2014 as part of their aptly titled tour \u201cJONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour.\u201d<\/p>\n The three brothers from Wyckoff \u2014 Nick, Kevin and Joe \u2014 are celebrating the 20-year anniversary of their pop-rock band. The tour, named after an upcoming album, will begin at East Rutherford at MetLife Stadium this Sunday, Aug. 10<\/a>, and run through Nov. 14 in major cities across the country and Canada, including Houston, Orlando, San Francisco and more.<\/p>\n The tour will also highlight their new single “No Time to Talk.\u201d<\/p>\n To get you ready for the concert \u2014 or just to get you up to speed on the Jonas Brothers \u2014 we pulled together a quick Q&A about the band and Sunday’s cocnert at MetLife.<\/p>\n Story continues below photo gallery<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n NJ Transit is welcoming the Jersey brothers back in style their very own rail line \u2014 on Sunday, the Meadowlands rail line that runs from between Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium will be temporarily called the \u201cJonas Brothers Hometown Express.\u201d The line had most recently transported 150,000 soccer fans to and from the stadium for the FIFA World Cup<\/a> last month, according to the agency.<\/p>\n The rail schedules between Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium will be available on njtransit.com\/JonasBrothers<\/a>.<\/p>\n While raised in Wyckoff, the Jonas family moved to Little Falls during the boys’ childhood, where they wrote their first album.<\/p>\n Although the band formed in 2005, The Jonas Brothers gained popularity after being featured in a Disney Channel series called “Jonas,” which ran from 2009 to 2010. They also starred in two Disney Channel original movies called “Camp Rock” and “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” which aired 2008 and 2010 respectively.<\/p>\n In 2008, the band was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards, according to Stubhub.com. They have also sold over eight million albums worldwide.\u00a0They will also be inducted into the NJ Hall of Fame.<\/a><\/p>\n The Jonas Brothers reunited to release their comeback single \u201cSucker\u201d after a six-year hiatus in March 2019, according to StubHub.com. Their return album, “Happiness Begins,” came out in April 2019.
