Taylor Swift Fans Rally Behind Her After Elon Musk’s AI Grok Reportedly Creates Explicit Deepfake Videos<\/a> originally appeared on Parade<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n Taylor Swift<\/a><\/strong> fans have rallied behind the pop superstar after Elon Musk’s<\/a><\/strong> AI assistant, Grok<\/a>, reportedly created explicit deepfake videos of her.<\/p>\n On Aug. 5, an article from The Verge<\/a> reporter Jess Weatherbed<\/strong> alleged that Grok’s Imagine feature on iOS generated video clips of Swift without clothes. She said she did so by using the AI assistant to create photos with a text prompt and then turning that into a video using the preset “Spicy.”<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfac\u00a0<\/strong>SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\ud83c\udfac<\/strong><\/p>\n “While image generators often shy away from producing recognizable celebrities, I asked it to generate ‘Taylor Swift celebrating Coachella with the boys’ and was met with a sprawling feed of more than 30 images to pick from, several of which already depicted Swift in revealing clothes,” Weatherbed detailed.<\/p>\n After tapping “make video,” selecting “spicy” and confirming her birth year, Weatherbed said a video was generated that had Swift “tear off her clothes and begin dancing in a thong for a largely indifferent AI-generated crowd.”<\/p>\n Parade reached out to representatives for Swift and X for comment but did not immediately hear back.<\/p>\n On X, fans of the “Shake It Off” singer rallied behind her, condemning the AI’s reported ability.<\/p>\n One critic declared<\/a>, “You launch a \u2018spicy\u2019 AI mode, it makes a topless Taylor Swift deepfake in 3 seconds\u2026 and you call that \u2018innovation\u2019? Nah. That\u2019s just digital rot in a $44B playground..”<\/p>\n Someone on X else shared<\/a>, “Imagine AI so \u2018helpful\u2019 it strips celebrities naked in videos without you asking\u2026yep, Grok\u2019<\/strong>s spicy mode did that to Taylor Swift.
