\n\tAura Entertainment<\/a> has acquired the action comedy \u201cCode 3,\u201d starring Rainn Wilson<\/a>, Lil Rel Howery<\/a> and Aimee Carrero, for distribution. The Wayfarer Studios<\/a>-produced film will launch in U.S. theaters on Sept. 12.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cCode 3\u201d follows a burned-out paramedic taking on one final 24-hour shift to train his replacement, only to find the night spiraling into chaos. Joining Wilson, Howery and Carrero for the \u201cadrenaline-fueled thrill ride,\u201d characterized by \u201cheart, humor, and high-stakes action,\u201d is an ensemble cast including Rob Riggle and Yvette Nicole Brown. The film is directed by Christopher Leone (\u201cParallels\u201d) from a script he co-wrote with former paramedic Patrick Pianezza.<\/p>\n \n\tWith the acquisition, Aura Entertainment, the recently launched U.S. film distribution company, adds to its growing slate of titles \u2014 15 and counting \u2014 with seven slated for release in 2025.
