Rapper T-Hood<\/strong> has died<\/a>. He was 33.<\/p>\n

T-Hood (real name Tevin Hood) was shot and killed<\/a> on Friday, August 8, following a domestic dispute outside a residence in Georgia, according to a statement from local police.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a shooting at a residence that resulted in the death of one man,\u201d a press release shared via X<\/a> early on Saturday, August 9, read. \u201cAt approximately 7:00 p.m., officers assigned to the South Precinct were dispatched to a residence in the 3900 block of Lee Rd in unincorporated Snellville. The caller reported that a dispute took place at the residence and someone was shot.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to law enforcement officials, they immediately \u201crendered aid\u201d to T-Hood, who was not publicly identified in the statement.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAtlanta-based rapper Young Scooter, best known for songs \u201cJugg King\u201d and Hard to Handle,\u201d has reportedly died. He was 39. News broke on Friday, March 28, that Scooter (born Kenneth Edward Bailey) had died after being transported to a local hospital in Atlanta, Variety and the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported, citing a spokesperson for the Fulton [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cGwinnett County Fire Rescue transported the man to a local area hospital where he ultimately passed away from the injuries sustained,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cOne person was detained at the shooting location and is in the process of being interviewed by detectives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwinnett County PD officials are currently investigating T-Hood\u2019s death<\/a> as a homicide.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe motive for the shooting is still under investigation,\u201d the note concluded. \u201cThe identity of the victim will be released following next-of-kin notification. There is no active threat to the public.\u201d<\/p>\n

T-Hood\u2019s family members confirmed the musician\u2019s identity to Atlanta\u2019s Channel 2 Action News<\/a>, <\/i>which had reporters on the scene in T-Hood\u2019s neighborhood on Friday.<\/p>\n

T-Hood was best known as a rapper, releasing songs such as \u201cReady 2 Go,\u201d \u201cPerculator,\u201d \u201cGirls in the Party\u201d and \u201cBig Booty\u201d with B.o.B.<\/strong><\/p>\n
