\n\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n\t\t\tJimmy Kimmel is sharing some good news: His 7-year-old son, Billy, underwent his third open-heart surgery over Memorial Day Weekend \u2014\u00a0and it was a success. \u201cWe went into this experience with a lot of optimism and nearly as much fear and came out with a new valve inside a happy, healthy kid,\u201d Kimmel, 56, revealed [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Silverman, in response, noted that she didn\u2019t know that Kimmel thought she saved his life \u2014 but did acknowledge her reaction in the moment.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do remember going, like, full Shirley MacLaine<\/strong> from Terms of Endearment<\/i>,\u201d she quipped. \u201cI went bananas. Silverman, for her part, also remembered Kimmel was \u201ckeeled over in pain\u201d with his \u201cappendix, probably, about to burst.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYeah, you never know when the appendix is going to burst, and no one was coming in,\u201d Kimmel explained. \u201cI do remember you got very assertive with them. I was, like, \u2018Thank God.\u2019 And you know what? I went to work the next day.\u201d<\/p>\n
