It follows March\u2019s confirmation from Albarn and Jamie Hewlett that a new Gorillaz album is due this year, alongside the announcement of a short London run.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 last:mb-0\">Speaking to Channel 4 News, Albarn said, \u201cWe\u2019re playing the first album, the second album, the third album, and then the fourth one is a mystery,\u201d he explained. When presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy asked if there might be something new for the fourth one, Albarn answered, \u201cThere might\u2026 I mean, yes in that sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 last:mb-0\">Albarn also discussed appearing at the Brian Eno-hosted Palestine Benefit at Wembley next month. \u201cI\u2019ve been in one way or another engaged with Palestine for a long time,\u201d he said. \u201cI think it\u2019s about not denying the legitimacy of Palestine, not denying the historical presence of Palestinians, and recognizing the genocide that is taking place there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 last:mb-0\">\u201cWe cannot deny the Palestinians their existence, which is what\u2019s going on at the moment. It\u2019s just wrong. Palestinians belong there. You can\u2019t just kick them out. It\u2019s not acceptable,\u201d he continued. \u201cEven talking about it now, I feel emotional and I don\u2019t want to say the wrong thing. I want to be absolutely clear. Ultimately I come from a family of pacifists and my inclination is towards the more pluralistic approach to things.
