After having her viral denim ad<\/a> be compared to \u201cfascist propaganda\u201d<\/a> and her Republican voter status<\/a> leaked, you\u2019d think Sydney Sweeney would be laying low \u2014 not showing up to the filming of one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year. According to People<\/a>, the actress was spotted on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2, seemingly ready to clock in and make some movie magic.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, August 6, onlookers captured footage<\/a> of someone believed to be Sweeney leaving the same trailer<\/a> as Emily Blunt, concealing her identity with a hoodie and an oversized umbrella. Now, could this really be her? Sure, why not \u2014 the sequel already has a stacked cast of new faces, including Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet<\/a>, Simone Ashley, and Ciara. What\u2019s another arbitrary celebrity cameo, really?<\/p>\n

While a number of social-media accounts have been posting fake sightings<\/a> of celebrities appearing to be on set for the movie, I\u2019m inclined to believe that this one is legit. Sweeney often has her hands full with projects and random spon-con gigs, so I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if she somehow booked a part in the sequel. If I had to guess, Sweeney will either be playing herself vying for the September cover of Runway, a young journalist experiencing her very first layoff, or Miranda\u2019s new assistant. I guess I\u2019ll have to wait and see if my predictions are true next May.<\/p>\n
