Gunna<\/a>\u2018s The Last Wun<\/em> tops this week\u2019s new music poll.<\/p>\n In a poll published Friday (Aug. 8) on Billboard<\/a><\/em>, music fans chose the Atlanta rapper\u2019s sixth studio album as their favorite new release of the past week.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n The Last Wun<\/em> brought in nearly 57% of the vote, beating out new releases from artists like MGK<\/a> (Lost Americana<\/em>), Laufey<\/a> (\u201cSnow White\u201d), Jonas Brothers<\/a> (Greetings From Your Hometown<\/em>) and Ethel Cain<\/a>\u2018s (Willoughby Tucker, I\u2019ll Always Love You<\/em>).<\/p>\n The 25-track album, the follow-up to last year\u2019s One of Wun<\/em>, includes the singles \u201cWon\u2019t Stop\u201d and \u201cHim All Along,\u201d and features collaborations with Offset, Wizkid, Asake, Burna Boy and Nechie.<\/p>\n Given the finality suggested by the project\u2019s title, fans have speculated that this may be Gunna\u2019s last release under YSL Records\/300 Entertainment. His relationship with the label \u2014 founded by Young Thug \u2014 has become increasingly complicated in the wake of the high-profile YSL RICO trial<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019ll come to me just through life and just living,\u201d Gunna told Uproxx<\/a><\/em> in June, describing his creative process. \u201cSo for this album in particular, it\u2019s no theme. It\u2019s in current time of what\u2019s happening with me.\u201d<\/p>\n Gunna last topped the Billboard 200 with 2022\u2019s DS4EVER<\/em>. All of his solo albums have landed in the top three on the chart and reached No. 1 on the Top Rap Albums chart.<\/p>\n MGK\u2019s Lost Americana<\/em> secured second place in the poll with 13% of the vote. The rootsy folk album marks the artist formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly\u2019s first full-length Americana project, following a run of hip-hop and pop-punk releases.
