Colin Farrell will receive the Golden Icon Award at the 2025 Zurich Film Festival, recognizing his performance in Ballad of a Small Player<\/a><\/em> and his career achievements. The Oscar-nominated Irish actor will attend the festival on September 27 for the award presentation and gala premiere of the film, and will participate in a ZFF Masters discussion the following day.<\/p>\n Directed by Edward Berger, Ballad of a Small Player<\/em> is based on Lawrence Osborne\u2019s 2014 novel and follows a gambler in Macau whose past catches up with him.
