Zac Brown made headlines last month when he announced that he and Kendra Scott are now engaged.<\/p>\n
He is making headlines now, though, because his ex-wife, Kelly Yazdi, is not going away quietly.<\/p>\n
The two were married for just four months before going through a nasty split in 2023, and Yazdi has often hurled accusations at the popular singer. She returned to social media on Friday with what she said was a major update as they continue to battle things out in court. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m here to share with you guys the most important update in regard to the lawsuit that my ex-husband, Zac Brown, from Zac Brown Band forced on me,\u201d Yazdi said in the video shared to Instagram on Aug. 8.<\/b><\/a> <\/b>\u201cSo yesterday was a huge day. The federal judge issued an order declaring that Zac\u2019s contracts, the ones that he has been trying to use to silence me are, in fact, unenforceable as written.<\/p>\n \u201cThe judge made it very clear that celebrities do now get special treatment and that they are not above the law,\u201d she continued. \u201cThis means Zac Brown is now 0-for-3. The TRO against me? Denied. The preliminary injunction? Withdrawn. His contracts? Unenforceable as written.\u201d<\/p>\n Yazdi was not through.<\/p>\n \u201cZac\u2019s choice to drag me through lawsuits and use his PR machine to spin false narratives about me has only resulted in a loss after loss for him, but I know you guys know the saying, karma is a \u2026.\u201d she said. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m looking for our trial on Sept. 15 at the U.S District Courthouse in Atlanta, Georgia which is, in fact, open to the public. And to everyone who has stood by me and supported me, thank you so much. This is not only a huge win for me. This is a huge win for the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n Brown has yet to respond to her latest video.<\/p>\n Brown shared last month during an appearance on \u201cToday\u201d that he and Brown were engaged. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m blessed,\u201d he said. <\/b><\/a>\u201cI feel great.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s incredible, we\u2019re so happy we found each other,\u201d he added. \u201cWe\u2019re blessed and it just adds so much energy to everything else, more to give to music, more to give to our families, so we\u2019re blessed.\u201d<\/p>\n The Zac Brown Band also recently announced it will play a shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Dates are Dec. 5, 6, 12 and 13, and that is slated to coincide with the release of the band\u2019s seventh studio album, \u201cLove & Fear.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBringing our new album Love & Fear to Sphere in Las Vegas is a dream come true,\u201d Zac Brown said. <\/b><\/a>\u201cIt\u2019s my masterpiece so far.
