William Shatner is immortalizing his legendary career by writing a book \u2014 and fans have a chance to be included in it. <\/p>\n
Shatner, best known for playing Captain James T. Kirk in the \u201cStar Trek\u201d franchise, announced his new project entitled \u201cWilliam Shatner… And You!\u201c on Thursday, Aug. 7.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy dear followers, I wanted to drop a bit of a teaser: I\u2019m writing a new book,\u201d the 94-year-old wrote in an Instagram post<\/a>. \u201cEven Better: the book\u2019s all about YOU, the fans, and you can be a part of it, maybe even be in it!\u201d <\/p>\n From now until Dec. 31, fans who pre-order the book can submit their own tale of how Shatner\u2019s characters (i.e. Kirk, T.J. Hooker or Denny Crane) have impacted their lives. <\/p>\n On top of that, a select number of fans will get to be interviewed by the Emmy-winning actor and have their stories featured in the final edition of \u201cWilliam Shatner… And You!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis isn\u2019t just a chance to own a piece of history: it\u2019s an opportunity to make history, to have your voice echo across the galaxy alongside mine,\u201d the book\u2019s website reads<\/a>. <\/p>\n All fan-submitted stories will get reviewed by Shatner\u2019s team and shortlisted for interviews by the end of this year\/start of next year.
