It\u2019s been a rough year for Katy Perry<\/a>, from the controversial Blue Origin flight <\/a>to her engagement with Orlando Bloom ending<\/a>. Not only that, but she\u2019s in a few housing battles right now; and now, she\u2019s getting fined for another thing she did.<\/p>\n

Many know that Perry\u2019s new album 143 <\/a><\/em>was fraught with controversy, especially after collaborating with Dr. Luke, whom Kesha <\/a>accused of \u201csexually, physically, verbally and emotionally\u201d abusing her. But now, it seems that her single \u201cLifetimes\u201d has a controversy of its own.<\/p>\n

Perry filmed the music video for her single at the Ses Salines Natural Park on the Balearic Islands (specifically at the dunes on the islet of S\u2019Espalmador); and now, it\u2019s a \u201cserious\u201d issue, per The US Sun<\/a>. (However, per The Wrap<\/a>, it\u2019s more so seen as an environmental infringement, rather than anything harsher!)<\/p>\n

In a press release, the environmental agency clarified that the production company \u201cin no case\u201d had asked for permission to shoot the video there. So now, Perry has to shell out nearly $7,000 for filming there without permission.<\/p>\n
