\n\tBob Moses<\/a> will release its fourth studio album, Blink<\/em>, on Oct. 17. The new project was recorded between Los Angeles, where the duo\u2019s Tom Howie lives, and New York City, where the group\u2019s other half, Jimmy Vallance, resides. The pair initially passed ideas and demos back and forth through Dropbox and Discord, and then met up in cities including Toronto and Vancouver, B.C., to expand on the music in the studio.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThe album\u2019s like a question: How do you reconcile the desire to have a meaningful life with the realization that it\u2019s gone in an instant, that you can\u2019t hold on to things for too long?\u201d Howie says in a statement on the new album\u2019s thematic focus. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t a conscious choice, but the way we made this record fits that idea, and maybe that\u2019s why we\u2019ve touched on it: It\u2019s a phase in our lives where we\u2019re doing everything in moments.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAhead of the new album\u2019s release, the pair will play a flurry of dates including XS in Las Vegas, the North Carolina edition of Breakaway festival and Portola in San Francisco in September.<\/p>\n \n\tThe pair\u2019s debut album, 2015\u2019s Days Gone By<\/em>, spent 11 weeks on Top Dance<\/a>\/Electronic albums, with its 2018 followup Battle Lines <\/em>spending a week on the chart. \u201cLove Brand New\u201d from The Silence In Between<\/em>, spent 12 weeks on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, peaking at No. 29.<\/p>\n \n\tListen to \u201cLast Forever\u201d below:<\/p>\n \t\n
