Northern War<\/a><\/cite>, <cite class=\"e anime\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/encyclopedia\/anime.php?id=26745\">Ron Kamonohashi&#8217;s Forbidden Deductions<\/a><\/cite>, <cite class=\"e anime\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/encyclopedia\/anime.php?id=24313\">Skeleton Knight in Another World<\/a><\/cite>) composed the third added song. <\/p>\n<p>The campaign <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/news\/2024-11-07\/haruhi-suzumiya-franchise-launches-crowdfunding-for-new-song-music-video\/.217631\">launched<\/a> on November 15, and ended on January 15. On its first day, it had already <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/news\/2024-11-17\/haruhi-suzumiya-franchise-crowdfunding-reaches-both-goals-on-day-1\/.217961\">reached<\/a> its first two goals for one new song and its music video. The campaign raised a total of 86,825,276 yen (about US$595, 000).<\/p>\n<p>The initial 10 million yen (about US$65,000) goal funded the new song featuring Haruhi, Mikuru, and Nagato, with the music video featuring a 3D model of Haruhi dancing. It begins when the SOS Brigade are apparently transported to a fantasy world. The story continues in different worlds through the &#8220;Kaete Kita Suzumiya Haruhi Gekij\u014d&#8221; (Return of Haruhi Suzumiya Theater) follow-up story in the June 2006 issue of  <i><cite class=\"e anime\">The Sneaker<\/cite><\/i>. The new volume added a new sequel short story to these earlier stories.  <\/p>\n<p>Tanigawa and illustrator <cite class=\"e person\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/encyclopedia\/people.php?id=48699\">Noizi It\u014d<\/a><\/cite> published 11 novels for the original series between 2003-2011. The light novel series <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/daily-briefs\/2017-12-10\/haruhi-suzumiya-light-novel-series-has-20-million-copies-in-print-worldwide\/.125089\">has<\/a> more than 20 million copies in print as of 2017.
