Ethel Cain<\/a> has announced her return to Australia, with a five-date run across capital cities booked for February 2026. The shows have been announced as an extension of the American singer-songwriter\u2019s Willoughby Tucker Forever<\/em> world tour, which comes in support of her recently-released second album Willoughby Tucker, I\u2019ll Always Love You<\/em>. The full list of Cain\u2019s newly-announced Australian tour dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.<\/p>\n Sharing the tour news to her social media accounts, Cain offered only this brief statement: \u201cAustralian and New Zealand\u2026 it\u2019s time.\u201d Indeed, while in the Australasian region, Cain will also perform for one night only at Auckland\u2019s Town Hall on Valentine\u2019s Day. More information on that show can be accessed by visiting the official ticketing vender, Ticketmaster New Zealand<\/a>.<\/p>\n Cain made her Australian debut<\/a> in mid-2023, touring her 2022 album Preacher\u2019s Daughter<\/em> by performing as part of several boutique concert series: Melbourne\u2019s RISING<\/a>, Sydney\u2019s Vivid LIVE<\/a> and Hobart\u2019s Dark Mofo<\/a>. The tour was a considerable success, with all shows selling out well in advance. It was, however, not a tour without incident; during the second of her three shows at the Sydney Opera House<\/a> Drama Theatre, Cain collapsed on stage<\/a> after performing only a few songs.<\/p>\n \u201cSorry I wasn\u2019t able to finish the show last night, but all this touring and traveling has finally caught up with me,\u201d she wrote the day after on her social media accounts. \u201cI am feeling better today, though, and am excited for the show tonight.\u201d Cain performed at the Opera House again that night, performing a six-song set and sitting in a chair for the majority of the show.<\/p>\n Willoughby Tucker, I\u2019ll Always Love You<\/em> was released last Friday (August 8th). Its release was pre-empted by the release of two singles: \u2018Nettles\u2019 in June\u2019, and \u2018Fuck Me Eyes\u2019 in July. The album is a concept record of sorts, following a teenage romance between Cain\u2019s unnamed protagonist and the titular Willoughby Tucker.
