Fresh off the back of new album Willoughby Tucker, I\u2019ll Always Love You<\/em>, Ethel Cain has expanded her global tour into 2026 with dates in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n Taking place throughout February 2026, the forthcoming shows will be Cain\u2019s first of the year and will launch with a headline date at Auckland Town Hall in New Zealand before heading west to Australia. The five-date tour will feature two headline dates in Melbourne before one-off shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Fremantle.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n Cain\u2019s visit to New Zealand will mark her first appearance in the country, while it will be her second time in Australia, having made her debut in 2023 as part of the RISING, Vivid Live and Dark MOFO festivals.<\/p>\n The announcement of new tour dates comes just days after the release of Cain\u2019s second studio album, Willoughby Tucker, I\u2019ll Always Love You<\/em> on Friday (Aug. 8).<\/p>\n The album is a thematic prequel to Cain\u2019s 2022 debut, Preacher\u2019s Daughter<\/em>, which reached No. 10 on the Billboard 200<\/a> in April following its first vinyl release. Its recent physical issue<\/a> also resulted in peaks atop the Top Alternative Albums<\/a> chart, the all-genre Top Album Sales<\/a> list, the Vinyl Albums<\/a> chart, and No. 2 placings on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums<\/a> and Top Rock Albums<\/a> charts.<\/p>\n The musical moniker of Hayden Anhed\u00f6nia, a recent interview revealed that the Ethel Cain project has reached a thematic conclusion with the release of the nascent record.<\/p>\n \u201cPreacher\u2019s Daughter<\/em> was speaking on my experiences in the church and as a child, and dealing with an environment you are subjected to and can escape from and all those fears,\u201d Anhed\u00f6nia told Popcast<\/em><\/span> last month. \u201cWilloughby Tucker<\/em> is more of my insecurities and frustrations and fears and inadequacies and all of that in love. And so it\u2019s just as personal, just on a different tip.<\/p>\n \u201cBut all of this, since the debut, has to do with Ethel Cain, the granddaughter\u2019s character.
