OSHKOSH \u2013 The best is yet to come.<\/p>\n
Two of country music\u2019s biggest stars are already set to headline the next XRoads41<\/a> festival, with multi-platinum singer Jason Aldean<\/a> and Grammy Award-winning artist Lainey Wilson<\/a> slated to take the stage for the 2026 show.<\/p>\n Festival directors Oshkosh Festivals LLC couldn\u2019t confirm next year\u2019s acts because of contractual obligations, but the news was announced multiple times during the just-concluded three-day concert at Oshkosh Festivals Park.<\/p>\n Aldean and Wilson are expected to give XRoads41 the massive star appeal the festival hasn\u2019t quite had with regards to country music over the first two editions of the concert.<\/p>\n Widely regarded as a superstar in the genre, Aldean, 48, has a double-platinum certified album in “Night Train” and four others that have also gone platinum.<\/p>\n He\u2019s received five Grammy Award nominations while producing 30 No. 1 singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, including “Amarillo Sky,” “She\u2019s Country,” “You Make It Easy” and “Whiskey Drink.”<\/p>\n Read more: <\/strong>As Oshkosh Arena readies for 1st concert in 2 years, director is \u2018very positive\u2019 about future<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Lainey Wilson headlines Summerfest’s American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Thursday, June 26, 2025.<\/p>\n The 33-year-old Wilson, who is engaged to former NFL quarterback Duck Hodges, won a Grammy Award for the Best Country Album with Bell Bottom Country and has nine Country Music Association awards along with 16 Academy of Country Music Awards.<\/p>\n She was also the most played country female artist in 2024.<\/p>\n News of Aldean and Wilson\u2019s inclusion for next year\u2019s XRoads41 comes just days after this year\u2019s festival attracted 41,500 people, bettering the 2024 attendance of 28,500 from the inaugural show.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are blown away by the passion and energy our fans brought this year,\u201d said Oshkosh Festivals General Manager Corey Bliss in a news release. \u201cFrom the incredible performances to the new features we introduced, 2025 was truly a milestone year forXRoads41.\u201d<\/p>\n This year\u2019s festival, which ran Aug. 7-9, featured country artists Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Parker McCollum and Jessie Murph alongside Grammy Award-winning rapper Nelly and multi-Grammy Award-nominated artist Flo Rida.<\/p>\n Read more: <\/strong>EAA honors legacy of late astronaut James Lovell, who visited Oshkosh frequently<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Flo Rida brought more than 20 guests on stage during his set Aug. 9, 2025, at XRoads41.<\/p>\n Oshkosh Festivals LLC Marketing Director Mindy Klein said the new additions<\/a> were also a hit with patrons, as XRoads41 featured a second stage, a new layout for the VIP lounge area, a campground hub, themed days and a Ferris wheel on the festival grounds.<\/p>\n \u201cSo many patrons have been telling us how great the artists were and what an amazing atmosphere we had, and that\u2019s great considering the support we have been getting in just our second year,\u201d Klein told the Northwestern. \u201cWe\u2019re still evaluating everything that was added to see what works and what doesn\u2019t work, but we will definitely be building on the experiences of our patrons.\u201d<\/p>\n Next year\u2019s festival is slated for Aug. 6-8 and the organizers are already offering a limited presale through Aug. 15 \u201cwith the guaranteed lowest price for 2026 tickets.\u201d<\/p>\n Klein said the 2026 show will be adding a super VIP pit right next to the stage and redefining new ticket types with different price points for fans standing and seating general admission.<\/p>\n Contact\u00a0Justin Marville<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0jmarville@gannett.com<\/a>\u00a0and follow him on X (formerly Twitter) at @justinmarville.<\/p>\n<\/span><\/div>\n
