They will also be provided with tools to expand their audience and tell the story of their songs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently in beta, the features will mean \u201cThe new features mean that songwriters\u2019 musical works and their shared content will sit side-by-side in one place on TikTok for the first time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Partners<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Warner Chappell Music, Kobalt Music, Reservoir Media and Sentric are among TikTok\u2019s partners in the new feature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research by the UK\u2019s MIDiA found over 80% of songwriters post on social media for their careers, and 53% of these do so on TikTok.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>ARIAs ADD BEST FESTIVAL CATEGORY<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year\u2019s ARIA awards \u2013 held at Sydney\u2019s Hordern Pavilion on Wed. Join us on another platform.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>MILITARY MADNESS #2: FESTIVALS CONNECTED<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Greens MP Cate Faehrmann, of the NSW Legislative Council, has demanded the State Government claw back the $1 million it gave two festivals run by Sydney-based promoter Fuzzy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Faehrmann alleged, \u201cFuzzy is majority owned by global entertainment giant Superstruct which operates 80 music festivals around the world and was bought out last year by global investment firm KKR.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cKKR has links to Israeli investments in West Bank and Gaza.
