Ryan Reynolds<\/span><\/strong>\u2018 recent post has seemingly teased Deadpool<\/span><\/strong>\u2018s entry into Avengers: Doomsday<\/span><\/strong>, months after the movie\u2019s official cast announcement. Reynolds, who made his MCU debut with the 2024 movie Deadpool & Wolverine, was not included in the cast list revealed for the upcoming Avengers outing back in March. However, at the time of writing, Marvel Studios has not made any statement regarding the actor\u2019s cryptic post.<\/p>\n Ryan Reynolds recently surprised Marvel fans by sharing a post on Instagram<\/a>, seemingly hinting at Deadpool joining the Avengers: Doomsday cast. The post showcased the Avengers logo with a red \u201cA\u201d spray-painted over it. However, he didn\u2019t mention anything in the caption, creating more curiosity around the post.<\/p>\n As soon as the post arrived on his Instagram, fans chimed in to share their theories about Deadpool\u2019s possible inclusion in Avengers: Doomsday. Currently, Marvel Studios has not made any announcement regarding Reynolds joining the upcoming movie.<\/p>\n In April, the actor spoke with TIME<\/a>, where he shared his views on Deadpool joining the Avengers or the X-Men. He said, \u201cIf Deadpool becomes an Avenger or an X-Man, we\u2019re at the end. That\u2019s wish fulfillment, and you can\u2019t give him that.\u201d Before that, Reynolds echoed the same thought during an interview with THR<\/a> in December 2024.<\/p>\n He told the outlet that he finds Deadpool\u2019s \u201centhusiasm and longing to be part of a team\u201d very endearing. But Reynolds doesn\u2019t think Deadpool \u201cshould ever be an Avenger or an X-Man,\u201d as, according to him, \u201cIf he becomes either, we\u2019re at the end.\u201d Reynolds also stated that Deadpool appearing in the Avengers and X-Men movies \u201cworks so well,\u201d but \u201che always needs to stay an outsider.\u201d<\/p>\n Now, it remains to be seen if Deadpool will make an appearance in Doomsday or not.
