Taylor Swift just announced her 12th<\/sup> album via boyfriend Travis Kelce\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

<\/p>\n

In a promo clip posted on the podcast\u2019s Instagram page, she shared the news with Travis and his brother Jason Kelce.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Taylor sits side by side with Travis and asks, “Can I show you something?”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Jason replies, “Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Jason asks, “What’s in it?” and she reveals, “This is my brand new album,\u00a0\u2018The Life of a Showgirl.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Travis declares, “TS 12!”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Fans will have to wait to see the cover, as it was blurred out for the promo.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

In true Taylor fashion, the announcement was perfectly timed. The caption states, \u201c12:12 on the 12th. \u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83d\udd25\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Previously, Tayor and Travis announced she would be a guest on \u201cNew Heights\u201d this week with another Instagram post.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

In the teaser,\u00a0 Swift tells Kelce of his blue sweatshirt, “That’s such a nice color on you,” he replies, “Yes, I know. It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie. It’s why we match so well.\u201d She then declares, “We’re about to do a f**king podcast!”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The new episode will air at 7 p.m. ET on August 13.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Meanwhile, \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl\u201d release date has not been announced, nor has the track list, but Taylor\u2019s website<\/a> is ready for pre-orders. Fans can choose between orange glitter vinyl, cassette, or CD options.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Eagle-eyed fans have noticed on her website it states vinyl will be mailed out before Oct. 13, 2025. Although the site does make it clear: \u201cTHIS IS NOT THE RELEASE DATE, OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

During her Eras Tour, Taylor tied in some orange confetti and outfits that didn\u2019t seem linked to any other era and just this week Taylor Nation\u2019s Instagram account posted a collection of photos<\/a> of Taylor in orange and wrote, \u201cThinking about when she said \u2018See you next era\u2026\u2019 \u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83d\udd25\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

In recent years, Taylor has also referenced showgirls in videos like \u201cBejeweled\u201d music video, which features orange lighting and her \u201cI Can Do It With a Broken Heart\u201d video which included a moment where backup dancers hold orange fans.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
