Stevie Wonder, 75, Joins \u2018Ageless\u2019 \u201860s Music Legend, 84, for a Rare Performance<\/a> originally appeared on Parade<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n Music royalty reunited onstage as Stevie Wonder<\/strong> ,75, stood beside icon Dionne Warwick<\/strong>, 84, for a rare and unforgettable performance that left fans in awe.<\/p>\n The two legends practically froze time as they began performing their hit collaboration on “That’s What Friends are For” which they originally recorded in 1985 with Elton John<\/strong> and Gladys Knight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Fans reported<\/a> that Warwick’s son made an announcement during the show and told audiences and his unsuspecting mother that he reached out to Wonder and asked him to surprise her on stage. Wonder certainly shocked both her and fans that night after his son escorted him to by join her on stage. Wonder played harmonica and belted out his old lines for the song.<\/p>\n The tune, which was originally recorded as a benefit for the American Foundations for AIDS Research, held the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks and became Billboard’s number one single of 1986.
